What Causes Moving Sensation In The Lower Abdomen?

I am a 70 year old woman who has noticed a feeling in my lower r side below the stomach area. This is not a sharp pain but rather feels like something is moving around when I move around or even turn over in bed. Sometimes it feels like a fluttering movement that last for a few seconds and then stops. But it is recurrent. What might this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to HCM...

According to history you are having fluttering like sensation in stomach area ...
So it doesn't seem much serious ...

For that buscopan like antispasmodic tablet given if needed ...

For few days avoid excess spicy foods and heavy meals ...

If such sensation feel in chest area than EKG and blood pressure measurement needs to be done ..

If symptoms are increasing USG needs to be done
..

Take care

Advise : Consult physician for examination....
