General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have a sensation of something moving under your skin. It can be a tactile hallucination. There is no physical cause for it. You will have to either see a Psychiatrist or a Counselor.

You will have to go through a few blood/urine tests & Imaging tests(MRI). You may need anti-psychotic medications if the reports are positive.

Since you are in the Peri Menopausal phase, you need to see a gyne. Get physically examined & get assessed for hypertension, diabetes, thyroid or hormonal disorders. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
