What Causes Mood Swings, Delayed Period And Abdominal Pressure While On Depo?
I am on depo and I m 13 days late on my period I m never late. I always have unprotected sex and my partner always releases his semen in me. Lately I been real moody, my nipples are very sensitive, I feel like there is pressure on my abdomen at all times, I ve been peeing a lot, nausea when I wake up. I been looking online about these symptoms but I don t know exactly what I m looking for because I ve been on depo for years and never had these symptom before.
The mood swings, delayed period and abdomen pressure with increase frequency of urination may be in concern with: - Hormone imbalance - Endometrial hyperplasia - Pelvic inflammatory condition - Others
A detailed gynecologist examination with per vaginal and speculum with ultrasound examination of the abdomen and pelvis showing status of both ovaries, uterine size, thickness are of great importance to diagnose the issue. If you have any of the reports available, kindly share with me during follow up discussion for better guidelines.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
