What Causes Missed Period While HPT Is Negative?

I don t knew who else to ask im a little young , I got my period on January 1st and on January 9th I had sex with my boyfriend , on January 15th I started spitting it was red then it turned to brown and I had some cramps and only lasted for two days & ever since then I ve been experiencing pregnancy symptoms, I had token a test and it was negative then later that week it had another line but it was faded and my friend had the same tests cause she thought she was pregnant and hers never had that extra line and we had the same brand of tests and then I recently toke another one and its negative I also missed my period for February 1st so could I be pregnant?? I need an answer im a little confused

Hello young lady and welcome.

Whether the line is faint or not, it is still considered positive. But what is worrying here is that the following test reported a negative result. In such cases I would recommend a visit to a doctor to confirm/rule out pregnancy, but understanding your hesitation, I am not sure whether you would be ready to do that.

So for now, wait it out and watch your symptoms. If your period does not appear, then take another pregnancy test in about 2 weeks time and write to me directly using our premium service okay?
