What Causes Miscarriages?

Good Day! I experienced two miscarriages the first one almost 6 weeks and second one 7 weeks to be exact.I was pregnant again for the third time.I experienced bleeding on the 2nd and third month and my ob told me i have incompetent cervix then i had the cervical cerclage done but unfortunately still i have a focal myometrial contractions ,i do all the test that cause the contractions but still there is so it is left unknown so i deliver the baby @ 6 months but my baby died after two days.I just want an answer so that i can correct my situation.Thanks a lot.Hope to hear from you soon.Godbless

Hello,

You were feeling cramps during last abortion that might be due to starting of abortion process.

The bleeding, cramps and pain during pregnancy suggestive of abortion.

I suggest you get fully investigated for possible abortion causes like chromosomal Abnormality, lupus, Hormonal imbalance, diabetes, infection etc.

For that you can get investigated with karyotyping, ANA estimation, random blood sugar estimation, Serum DHEA, USG pelvis etc for primary work up.

You can Consult good gynecologist for such detailed evaluation.
