General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

This burning sensation and chest pain may be caused due to gastritis and GERD. Using antacids such as Maalox is advisable. You may need to get checked doing a breath test, helicobacter pylori test and a fibroscopy also.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
