What Causes Mild Headaches After Hitting Back Of Head?

I hit back of my head and instantly had a mild headache which is still with me after an hour but is not getting worse. I do feel a bit spacey and mildly queesy and a bit sleepy as well. I would have to drive myself to e.r. to get checked out but since I didn't go unconscious do I need to go?

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having headache after injury to the back of the head. My response to your question is as below.
Headache along with feeling of spacey, queesy and sleepy require examination by your doctor to rule out intracranial concussion injury to the brain. This requires neurological examination and investigations like CT scan.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this answers your question.
Do write back to me for further questions.
