What Causes Mild Hand Tremors Occasionally?

recently my wife has started mild hand tremors only occasionally, then I noticed she had trouble opening small water bottles - very simple for me. finally she is very sharp and quick but I noticed 2 occasions where she asked me the same exact question within minutes. She never did that before. how should I move forward? I have not approached her yet.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Because your wife is experiencing new symptoms that may be due to a neurological condition, I would recommend you to see your local doctor first and probably he will be able to refer you to a neurologist if he finds this is necessary.

Tremors may be benign (which means they do not have a certain pathology causing them and no treatment is needed- essential tremor) or it may be due to Parkinson's disease or other neurological conditions. So a good neurological exam is needed to determine the potential cause and further needed steps in diagnosis and treatment.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
