What Causes Metallic Taste In The Mouth After Gallbladder Removal?

Gallbladder removed in 1976. Now, 2016, I have a metallic taste in my mouth and have been told it could be related to gallbladder and the digestive enzymes. It is an overwhelming taste that is making me very depressed. Recent ear, nose, throat MD has given me the swish and spit medicine. I do notice any change.
