I am 40 year old female. I have one child. I have been experiencing pain over some years on a fairly irregular basis becoming more regular over the last 18 months and often, but not always happening the day before my period. The pain comes on suddenly and is a 9 in terms of level. I have severe abso pain which feels very much like period pain accompanied by severe rectal pressure and discomfort accompanied with the urge to push. I can only describe the pain as similar to labour. I am unable to stand, sweat profusely and feel as if I will pass out. I was once sent by ambulance by work colleagues, given entomox and intravenous morphine for the pain. 6 months ago I had endometriosis lasered. This has not stopped the pain. I live in fear of the pain happening at work or in public. It is debilitating. Please can anyone offer a diagnosis? Thanks
