Hi

Based on your symptoms ,lump may have occurred due to infected acne, abscess(collection of pus) or a sebaceous cyst which occurs due to excess sebum.

Based on the cause, topical antibiotic application, incision and drainage of the pus or sebum has to be done based on the cause.Oral antibiotics may be required for 3 to 5 days.

Diabetes can cause increased boils and lumps when uncontrolled blood sugar levels occur in blood. In such cases, adjusting of oral hypo glycemic drugs is essential to control blood sugar and prevent complications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
