I have a purple soft lump on my panty line. At first I thought it was a boil. But it does not hurt at all. It s just soft, and the top skin is clear and you can see it s purple and black inside. It does not have a head, and can not be popped. I ve googled everywhere and can t find anything. I don t care for doctors and don t want to go in unless I need to worry. I have been applying a heated rag for a week with no difference. Can you help?

Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. S. Samanta's Response
Hi, If I were your treating Doctor for this case of a skin path, I would come up with only one and one possibility that is a chronic ischemic changes / fibrosis o pressure changes to your skin! Nothing to worry about this and try not to get infected there!
I suggest you to go to some dermatologist for some topical medicines and change/choice of better materials for undergarments and to relieve your concerns!
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
