Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 8 month old has one small lump on the bottom of each of his feet. He has had them since I can remember. He had to get blood glucose samples taken from both his feet a day or two after birth, I m not sure if that was the cause or not. The lumps are not red or irritated what could it be?
Please recollect if the lump is over the area where the blood samples were taken from. If yes then the lump could be iatrogenic imperfecta. I would advise you to get the same confirmed by a pediatrician. Please note that there is nothing to worry about the condition and it may resolve on its own in few months time.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
