What Causes Lump On The Anus Along With Blood In Stools?

I have a pretty big knot at the opening of my anus. It doesn t really hurt but it s gotten bigger. I would say it s quite a bit bigger than a marble. Probably about three marbles. I have red Blood in my bowel movements occasionally. This has been going on for a few years but has doubled in size as of lately. Should I be concerned?

Hi dear..yes you should be concerned....Its a good thing you have noticed the size of the knot and the blood in your stool. Are you constipated too?
Do you have trouble passing your stools?and does it hurt a lot there?
You need to show yourself to either a general surgeon or a gastrosurgeon, who will do a few noninvasive and invasive ( biopsy of the swelling to know what exactly it is.. wheteher is benign or otherwise) and rectoscopy .... This will help the doctor and yurself know if its a simple haemorrhoid or something serious that requires immediate work up.
Do you have any such knots elsewhere in the body..

So first thing you need to know what this marble sized thing is about? so the scopy and biopsy.
I hope this answers your query dear.
Do not spend your time in worry.Rather get to work on it today and get the investigations done.
Hope it turns out a simple growth dear.Take care.
