I m a 20 year old female with no history of real medical problems. I rarely get sick but lately my eyes have been feeling very tired and heavy like. I m not fatigued though, I still feel as if I have energy. I sleep about 8 hours a night and my eyes don t start feeling heavy until usually 10 in the morning. Sometimes the feeling comes and goes and I often feel better at night time. I will sometimes have days where i dont get the feeling at all. This has been going on for about a month and a half. Since January I have changed to a healthier lifestyle. Clean eating and working out 6 times a week, so I just assumed it was because of that or my birth control as they switched the brand i was on. I also read a lot and do a lot of work on a computer for my college classes. Then about 2 weeks ago I noticed a lump about the size of my thumb on the left side of my neck, under my ear and about mid way down. It is move able and it feels bigger/smaller depending on where I position my shoulder/neck. I thought at first it was a muscle knot but I have no pain at all. I think it is getting smaller but I m not sure. Should I be concerned?
Hello, a small painless mobile lump as u described, appears most likely as an enlarged lymph node..Now, depending on the size in cm, consistency, no., their significance varies. They may be an indication of a serious underlying condition or may just be present in a benign/reactive manner. So, don't panic but get urself evaluated by a physician/dermatologist to make sure it is benign/reactive. Thank you Take care
