What Causes Lower Left Quadrant Pain When Diagnosed With Cystinuria?

Hi. I suffer from cystinuria (genetic disease causes cystine stones). I ve been having a lot of pain in lower left quadrant but just had CT results showing no stone in left kidney. What could the pain be from of not stones. Possibly bowel related? My gran had bowel cancer and my cousin has chrones disease so you can see why I thought it might be that.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, CT scan may not detects the stone if it is due cystinuria and it is the test called "Nitroprusside cyanide" need to be done, in sever form of disease stone continue to form in side the kidney may cause the pain, if condition is not severe then it could be some smooth muscle spasm and it can be tried with (Dicyclomine with Acetaminophen), hope this information helps, take care.
