What Causes Lower Back Pain And Bumps On Right Hip And Left Leg?

Hello, My husband is 24 years old and is experiencing tenderness/pain in his lower back(mainly the left side). He has also these bumps below that about 3 small(size of a toddler fist) in his back. He also has one on the right side of his hip and left leg. I don t know if these bumps are connected to the lower back pain as he has had the bumps on the back looked at before and was told they were swollen lymph nodes and not to worry too much. Now about 2 1/2 years later they have grown a few cm in size and are appearing on other parts of his body along with 3 1/2 weeks of lower back pain/tenderness.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The lymph node enlargement with chronic back pain may be in relation with underlying auto immune disturbances or else. Kindly discuss the need of an MRI spine with or without lymph node biopsy for final confirmation of the diagnosis and cure accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
