Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I've been having lower back aches for a couple of weeks now but I'm only 13 and I don't play any sports and they happen regardless if I'm on my period or not, Also when I strech or whatever the pain worsens. I'm 5'1 and weigh at least 120, I've never had a history of back problems.
Hi, Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from chronic backache. It may be due to vitamin and trace element deficiencies specially vitamin D and vitamin B 12.Back exercises, neurotropics such as mecobalamine and analgesics (DICLOFENAC) give relief.Vitamin D 3 supplementation is helpful if it is low. Avoid long continuous standing. Sit in a straight posture. You need to done MRI to rule out other causes. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
