I have High BP, high Cholesterol, and am on Meds for these two. I am concerned that I now have developed Low Potassium. Is there a possible connection that involves all the symptoms above?

Hello,

Low potassium could be related to anti-hypertensive drugs or a low potassium diet. Which drugs are you currently taking for high blood pressure values? You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
