What Causes Low Eosinophil Levels?
Hi doctors! I m confused with the result of my renal tests, micral is positive but creatinine is within normal, globulin is a little high, eosinophil is low also. I ve had fbs test also for diabetes but it says 70 which I think is within normal level. Can you pls enlighten me as to my condition? Thanks

Hi,
First of all I need to assess whether there is absolute eosinopenia present or not, i.e., count below 30/cubib mili meter of blood. Low eosinophil levels are most commonly due to Cushing syndrome or corticosteroid consumption in majority of the cases.
However details of symptoms are reports as scanned copy are mandatory before making definite comments.
