What Causes Low Energy Levels After A Gallbladder Surgery?

I had gall bladder surgery 10 days ago following a week-long pancreatitis attack. Surgery went fine and I have had had no symptoms since. But since the surgery I have not recovered even close to a normal energy level. Is this lack of energy a normal progress so far away from surgery?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Generalized fatigue and low energy can happen after a major surgery and it will settle by itself. No specific treatment is required. You can drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a physician and check your electrolytes as low electrolytes can cause weakness.
Wishing you good health.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
