What Causes Low Bone Density?

hello, i m a 55 year old male, physically fit all my life. First detected in 2008 i ve been losing calcium through my urine currently at 900mg/24hours as measured by a 24 urine test. A very recent bone density test revealed some bone loss. Without knowing the cause of the loss, any thoughts to supplementing with calcium? thank you, Craig

Hello,

It can be an early sign of osteoarthritis.

Consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. You have to start on drugs like dronate.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
