What Causes Low Blood Sugar Levels In A Child?

My daughter is 12. She just had some lab work done nonfasting. Her TSH was 7.37. She had eaten breakfast and lunch before her labs and her glucose was 56. What could this mean? Is she hypo or hyper? She is a super athlete and in great shape. But she is easily distracted and has lost some weight since Christmas. We done the lab work because the school called because they said she had fainted at school. We are getting a thyroid ultrasound done in the next 48 hours. They are also thinking about sending her to an endocrinologist.
