What Causes Low Blood Sugar And Respiratory Problems In An Infant?

Hello my granddaughter was born in Colorado on March 14 weighing about 8 lbs and was in the nicu. The baby is eating about 55 cc 8 times a day and the doctor wants her to eat more so they add more to the NG tube. She is a slow eater and my daughter asked to have more time to feed her. The baby was treated for low BS and some respiratory issues. When she meets the amount they want her to eat they will change it to a higher amount. She is now in the step down nursery from the nicu. There are no IVs only a small amount of oxygen.
