What Causes Low Blood Pressure And Swollen Feet In A COPD Patient?
My mother has COPD and she is in AFIB and has low BP. She has just recently been put on oxygen at home after 3 bouts in the hospital. What I am concerned with right now is her blood pressure. it is creeping down to 85/55. She has very swollen feet but is not complaing of anything else. should I take her in?
As she is a case of AFIB, so her blood pressure will be on lower side and fluctuating. Kindly consult with cardiologist and she may require some anti-arrhythmic and tab. Digoxin after consultation. she requires continue watch over pulse, blood pressure and breathlessness. For swollen feet give pillow below feet. continue all medications as advised by cardiologist.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
