Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I m working on my nursing care plan for school and I cant seem to fine out why my pt. would have a low Absolute eosinophil lab value (0.12) in the post-partum period. The only thing I would think of is that it is low r/t her 2nd degree laceration or r/t the inflammatory process in pregnancy.
Low AEC count has not any significance. If it is associated with low total leukocyte count than underlying cause can be searched. But for only low AEC you may need not to worry. Kindly upload your reports to check it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
