What Causes Lot Of Blood Loss After Taking Tinzaparin?

Hi am 33 yrs old, I have 2 children, 10yrs ago when I had my 1st child I had a c section due to distress baby, couple days after c section I had a blood clot in my lungs and was treated with Warfirin. My 2nd child is 5yrs old, during pregnancy from 8weeks I took Tinzaparin to thin my blood. I had a normal delivery but when after having the child I encountered a lot of blood loss due to a cut the doctor did to deliver the baby, straight after the delivery I encountered a blood haemorrhage, the doctors wer great, I was treated with blood transfusion. My health is good, I am now thinking of having a 3rd child, if taking blood thinning injections would you advise the best way to delivery, is a c section or normal delivery?

I would say normal delivery is the best way. But if there are impending complications, caesarian section can also be done.
To ensure smooth normal delivery, we can use low molecular weight heparin(like tinzaparin and others) during pregnancy and switching over to unfractionated heparin near term and stopping it some time before labour can minimise blood loss.
On the other hand caesarian section can increase the risk of blood clot. If caesarian section is absolutely required then it should be done under caution.
Hope the above points will help you to discuss with your caregiver and take an informed decision. Thanks.
