Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My dad lost vision in one eye yesterday along with his sense of smell. He went to an eye doctor today in his small town, and she found that he has lost most of his vision in his other eye too now. He did not mention loss of sense of smell to the doctor. He had a cornea implant about 5 years ago. He is not acting concerned at all, but I am.
if it is sudden painless loss of vision along with loss of smell then it might be some leison in the brain.to rule out this MRI wud b required. thorough examination of eye is required to rule out cause of vision loss. corneal graft failure could be the reason. it would be benificial to visit a nuerologist if both liss of vision n liss of smell happened within short span of time.
