General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you may need to visit an otorhinolaryngologist to check your nasal mucosa and to check you for possible inflammation which also can cause loss of taste and smell.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
