What Causes Loss Of Focus In Vision And Floaters In Vision?

I am having trouble on a fairly regular basis now. My eyes will lose focus instantly and close themselves with the feeling like I m purposely squeezing my eyes closed. I also experience visually seeing out of my peripheral vision, small silver, sliver type things moving from behind my ears traveling towards the front, and crossing over to the opposite side from which they came. All of this happens 10+ times over the course of around 10min-ish. Thanks
