What Causes Loss Of Consciousness And Tunneling Of Vision?

My son thinks he has had a seizure. He has been researching and felt his symptoms fell into this category. He has had several episodes where he would get up and start to lose consciousness. He says he can t hear anything and his sight tunnels and he has to sit or lie down so he doesn t hit the floor. I m not sure that is what it is since he is not jerking or any typical seizure symptoms . He is away at school and I want him to go to the clinic on campus. A friend told him they couldn t help him. I will be bringing him home to the doctor here but wanted some advice.

HI
Well come to HCM
This does not seems any seizure but this could be more looks like hysteric attack and this need to be ruled out, as long as the symptom is concern this would need some investigation for diagnosis, and these includes, CT brain, EEG, but chances of seizure is very minimal or say almost nil, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
