What Causes Loss Of Appetite, Stomachache, Nausea And Heart Palpitations When Lying Down?

hi was wondering if you could help me out, it would be much appreciated. Basically for the last week i have lost my appetite and have a weird pain feeling in the middle of my stomach at the top, and it makes me feel nausea also. And one more thing for the past three days i have had weird heart palpitations when lying down on my bed.

Welcome to health care magic,

Loss of appetite, upper abdominal pain,nausea could be due to acute gastritis or refulx esophagitis or gastric ulcer etc.

Palpitations are could be because of anxiety, stress,anemia, gastric refulx (esophagitis) etc.

You can go for routine blood counts, ESR,liver function tests and abdominal ultrasound to detect the underlying cause.

Treatment is mainly depend upon the underlying cause but meanwhile you can should take antibiotics with anaerobic bacterial coverage,and antacids like proton pump inhibitors or digene.

Avoid oily,spicy and fatty foods.

If problem persists then consult gastroenterologist for further treatment.
