General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Blood in stool was due to laceration of the anal area from hard stool.

Should apply prep H locally after each bowel movement.

Should go to the toilet every time you feel the need.

Increase water intake. Take fiber supplement and fiber-rich foods.

Gentle laxatives like senna will help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
