Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It seems your child is suffering from colitis,as per your description. Get her stools tested and get treated accordingly. If doctor has not prescribed antibiotics in one go it's good. Go back to him/her again. Besides smell what is the stools look like. Better check with doctor rather than giving medication like Metrogyl on your own. Not a good practice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
