What Causes Longstanding Bumps At Ear Folds, Abdomen And Back?

I have a bump on the left side of my head just at the fold of the ear, it does not hurt when touch. It does bother me however and I ve had it for years. I m currently going through some stress which I think is making it more noticeable. Are these ever removed? I think it s a lymph node that got infected at some point. I also have similar types of these in various place on my abdomen and around my back. suggestions?

Hi,Dear thanks for the query to HCM.
I went through the details of your query.
After studying meticulously about the health concerns you have,
In my opinion the lump mostly is Post-auricular Lipoma,as you have history of similar lumps on abdomen/back etc.
There are other many reasons for such a lump(as Sebaceous Cyst/Chronic lymphadenitis with scalp infection/Chronic Boil /Congenital Dermoid Cyst which need to be ruled out by clinical examination by ER Surgeon, which is advisable in your case too.
USG study and opinion of ER Surgeon would be advised for confirming the type of the post-auricular lump in your special case.
Hope this would help you to plan treatment with your doctor on your next visit.
Write excellent review and hit thanks after reading this,if you find this reply helpful to you, which would improve my rating and would help viewers of the HCM.
Welcome for any further query to HCM and to ME.
Wish you fast recovery.
Have a Good Day.
