What Causes Liver Pain, Chills, Fever And White Stools?
Hi, on the night of august 29th I had a pale stool, I also had two on the 30th and one on the 31st. My urine is clear and almost unnoticeable and I haven t been drinking clear liquids but I have been drinking a lot like tea, orange juice, etc. I ve had this headache for almost 12 hours now. I ve had nausea on and off. I ve had this on and off sharp pain where my liver is. I ve had on and off chills and fever. I bruise easily. I was wondering if you might give me a few possibilities of what this might be. Thank you!
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Possible obstructive jaundice. 2. Biliary tract infection or associated obstruction, commonly leads onto pale stools. Ultrasound will be necessary to identify the exact site of obstruction. 3. Get a liver function test done to identify how much amount of damage is present. Enzyme levels elevation and bilirubin levels will be helpful to identify the amount of damage and further treatment necessary. 4. Bile duct obstruction secondary to gall stones, cholangitis, are common possibilities. Ultrasound could possibly identify a cause. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
