What Causes Lightheadedness And Numbness In The Limbs Of A Child?

Hi - My 11 year old son says he has had a couple instances lately where he feels lightheaded, and loses feeling in his arms & legs, but is still able to walk/move. Says it lasts for about a minute, then passes. Any ideas what could cause this? My initial thought was dehydration so I m having him drink some water. Thank you!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

You have to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. We have to rule out tendon injury which can happen with deep cuts. In that case, tendon suturing has to be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
