What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding After Having Unprotected Sex?
Hello Doctor, about 26 hours ago I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend but he didn t cum in me. In fact he wasn t even near cumming when we stopped the intercourse and proceeded with oral sex. Now, 26 hours later I have light bleeding. What could it be? I do not think it s my period and I am scared that it could be something serious. Please help me.

The bleeding could be due to the trauma which could have occurred during sex. Even if he did not cum, there is always cum dripping in small amounts from the tip of the penis. Thus can be enough to cause pregnancy even if he does not ejaculate in you. It is advisable to avoid sex till you heal. Get a urine pregnancy test after 7 days of sex.
