General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Because you have unprotected intercourse and your last menstrual period is different than the usual ones, I would advise you to have a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.

If the urinary pregnancy test comes out negative then there is nothing to worry about. There are times that the periods may vary from the previous ones and this is not due to any serious condition, as long as the pregnancy is ruled out.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
