What Causes Light And Scanty Bleeding During Periods?
Hi doctor I am 34 years old. i am having Hypothyroid problem after my first delivery. also now i am facing scanty periods for past 7-8 months. this time my periods go delayed by 20 days and after taking meprate for 5 days i got light scanty periods. Can u please tell me the reason for scanty or light periods. Am i reaching the menopause stage.

Is your thyroid level under control? Because that could be one of the reasons for scanty periods. If it is not normal, please see your endocrinologist as soon as possible. He will increase the dose accordingly. If it is normal, you will need to get investigated further.
