Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The symptoms that you have mentioned following intake of alcohol appears to have occurred due to alcohol intoxication. The control over automatic nervous system seems to have been affected due to it. The person might have gone in for ketotic state as well. You have given the right advise as such conditions can be assessed well and managed better in emergency room.

Hope the information provided would be helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S
