What Causes Lesions Inside The Urethra Near To Penis Tip?
Hi. I have some lesions, very small inside the urethra near the tip of my penis. I was wondering if this was herpes or UTI or something else. There seems to be only a couple of spots that look popped with very small red-yellowish ulcers, circular in nature. Then theres one that is still intact, but looks like a whitehead inside the penis.
The lesions described suggest herpes. Herpes lesions can appear as circular red-yellow blisters, intact bumps or open sores. These lesions can make urination uncomfortable or painful, thus making you think of UTI.
You need to see your regular doctor urgently for definitive diagnosis and proper treatment. He will need to take a full history, examine the lesions, do a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) profile and put you on proper treatment if it is indeed herpes. Herpes is very infectious and can recur from time to time, so please discuss this point with your doctor. Please do not participate in any form of sexual activity as the infection will spread. Thank you.
