What Causes Leg Pain While Suffering From Polio?

Hi, my husband is affected by polio in his right leg at the age of 3. He underwent surgery and could walk without sticks. Now he has leg pain while walking. What diet or care need to be given to his leg. I noticed that his polio attacked leg has gained some muscle growth.

Hi,

It is important for you husband to be seen from a doctor and have a proper examination to determine the cause of the pain. It may be related to polio he had as a child or other conditions (muscle pains, bone and joint related pains, veins being blocked or thrombosed, infection, nerve pain, etc.) and this needs to be confirmed so the proper diagnosis is set and proper measures and treatment may follow.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
