What Causes Left Sided Pain In The Lower Back Radiating Towards The Buttocks?

I have been suffering with same pain that comes and goes on lower part of left side of the back. Dr s have looked me over and say nothing is wrong with my back but I still suffer with the pain. If I push on the bone in left lower back it is very tender and sore and when pain gets bad it seems to spread into left buttocks to. I found out I have necrosis in both hips and had 1 operation but this pain seems to come from the back.
