Hello, The dye used for intravenous pyelogram or Ct scan is excreted through kidney and the urinary irritation is secondary to possible urethritis or cystitis issue most likely. My guidelines at present: - Plenty of liquids to flush out the contrast from the system - Urinary alkaliser as potassium citrate or potchlor - Citrus fruits with vitamin C content - Analgesic as diclofenac or else as per the recommendation of your urologist and creatinine report - Avoid masturbation or sexual intercourse if active Hope I have answered your query.
