What Causes Left Abdominal Pain Along With Nausea And Diarrhea After Eating?
grand daughter age 19 has lower left abd pain and nausea after eating. today had a mod amt bright red rectal pain after a stool which started loose and became more firm. pain and nausea has been going on for about a week. symptoms start about 20-30 min after eating. not sure what is going on
Pain in the lower left abdomen can be seen with several causes but based on the red color bleeding, the likely organ affected seems to be the gastrointestinal tract.
Compiling the symptoms together of nausea, pain, rectal pain, and bleeding can be seen with gastrointestinal infections.
The pain in these conditions would increase with eating food as the intestinal contraction increases.
Diagnosing this can be done with an examination, stool examination and in serious cases, a blood culture may be needed. Based on the results, the doctor would suggest either antacids or antibiotics if needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
