What Causes Large Itchy Bumps?

I recently moved into my new apt at the end of october everything was ok when all of a sudden i wake up to gaintic bump on me..it seems to come at night..they itch so bad til i scratch my skin of. It causes discoloration..i only it. My daughter nor boyfriend dont. I dont havr bed bugs did a clean sweep,havent been no where out the ordinary..i have at least two bumps a day..its hard and hot to the touch..

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of large itchy bumps which occurs due to infection of hair follicles and could be due to contact dermatitis.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply topical antibacterial ointment such as mupirocin. Drink plenty of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. Clean area with mild soap and cold water twice a day and apply aloe vera gel .

If condition doesn't start getting better in a month then consult dermatologist and start traetment as per that.
