General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The sudden appearance of dark spots can be related to melanin pigment disturbances particularly when there is no pain or associated issues of other systems.

There are certain cases of sun sensitivity too presenting this way. He must be addressed with an expert skin specialist for the proper evaluation and further guidelines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
