What Causes Large Blisters On The Shoulders After Getting Sunburned?

I recently got severely sunburned on my shoulders. Two days after the initial burn, large blisters formed. Today, the blisters are no longer there, but the affected area has turned a sickly yellow color, and is a different texture than my red sunburn. Is this normal of blisters to do this, or should I be treating it with something?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
This is quite normal after a significant sunburn like that.
The color is from the underlying fresh skin where the blisters used to be.
This will resolve in time, but I suggest using either Eucerin cream or aloe vera cream to keep the areas moisturized.
I find this answer helpful
