What Causes Lack Of Energy While On Prednisone?

Hi. My question: I have next to no energy these days and it s gotten worse. 55yr old male. I don t react well to most stimulants--caffiene, prednisone orally, some other things. But got a shot/injection for a cold with steroid included, and felt normal for the first time in a year or so. Where do I start here? Considering trying adderall, any legal steroid treatment...any suggestions?? Thanks...Roger

Hi,

Many options are available to help your low energy. However, it's always necessary to know the cause of your low energy and then give the appropriate treatment.

There may be many causes for low energy like low blood, low thyroid, stress, poor sleep, and many more. So you should see your doctor to exactly know as to why you feel low energy. Once the cause is known, treatment is not difficult then.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
